Making Wikis Work In Your Classroom
(Sunday, April 12 - Friday, April 17, 2009)

Location:http://knowschools.ca
Facilitator: Kathy Cassidy, Canada

Have you wondered what a "wiki" is and what you would do with one? If you have, this knowWEEK is for you. We'll explore what wikis are and the different ways teachers are using wikis to connect their classroom to the world. We'll also explore the different wiki tools that are available and how to set one up that will help you to support and extend your classroom curriculum using strategies that work with primary, intermediate and senior students. Teaching is too tough to do it on your own. Invite the world in to help you teach -- use a wiki.
